SCFA 2012 Calendar

We’re looking for a few good (pictures of) Franklin Township Animal Shelter Pets!!

Does your favorite picture of an FTAS animal (current or adopted) have want it takes to be part of the 2012 SCFA calendar?

For our fourth release of the SCFA calendar we’re asking for your help in finding the pictures that will decorate its pages.  The picture must be:

• Of high resolution print quality
• Must of of an animal that lived or currently lives at the Franklin Township Animal Shelter (FTAS)  It can be a picture of the pet in it’s adopted home.
• Please, no people in the picture -- we are focusing on the animals only.

If you have a picture or pictures you want to submit,  please be sure to read our conditions at the bottom of the page. We do our best to use as many if not all the pictures that are submitted.

Pre-ordering of the 2012 calendar - we will accept pre-orders with bulk discounts if you order three or more.  Details to follow.

NEW for the 2012 calendar -- Adopt-a-date!

Put a short message on the date(s) of your choice! No purchase of calendar necessary.  SCFA does reserve the right to refuse any message we deem inappropriate. (For example, obscene, offensive, counter to the mission and policies of SCFA and the Franklin Township Animal Shelter, etc.)  One message per date, first come basis.  $7 per date, three dates for $15.

There are also a limited number of blank squares on the bottom of some of the months which can be used for small pictures.  Again, same as for messages, we reserve the right to refuse any pictures that are inappropriate (see above) or are of poor print quality.  Remember those square are not very large so we may need to scale or crop the picture to fit.  Picture squares are $10 per square, three for $25.

How to submit pictures for the calendar months
By e-mail to calendar@secondchanceforanimals.org or through snail mail to Second Chance for Animals, P.O. Box 5172, Somerset, NJ 08875  - Attn.: 2012 Calendar.  (If you want your picture back, please be sure to include a SASE with sufficient postage.) Please try to send your pictures by 10/1/2011 in order to give us time to prepare the calendar.

With your submission, please tell us:

• The name of the pet (if you changed the pet’s name, also include its name when it lived at the shelter --if you recall it.
• Approximate date and location of the picture
• Your name and a contact method (e-mail preferred.)
• A short narrative about the animal.  This can be how you came to take the picture, or why you adopted it or how the animal has impacted your life. 

Adopt-a-date or picture squares
By e-mail to calendar@secondchanceforanimals.org or through snail mail to Second Chance for Animals, P.O. Box 5172, Somerset, NJ 08875  - Attn.: 2012 Calendar. Include the dates & messages for each date you are adopting. We will confirm the availability of the date(s) and send you a bill. We will reserve the date(s) pending receipt of payment. 

You may also submit pictures for blank squares the same way.

Our Conditions:

• When you submit your picture you are giving the picture to Second Chance for Animals (SCFA)  You give up all rights to the picture.
• We may use your picture for promotional materials or fundraising besides the calendar. 
• You relinquish the right to any profits earned by SCFA.  (All profits will be used to support our mission  of helping shelter animals.)
• By submitting your picture, you have agreed to these conditions.
• We reserve the right to refuse any pictures or messages we deem inappropriate.
